Having lived through the horrors of Rwandan Genocide against Tutsi over 2 decades ago, Mr.Kizito Musabimana would stayed away from home, promising to never return because of what he had experienced as a young (11-year) boy. After a 3-year Personal Study, Mr. Kizito would finally return to Rwanda In 2016. But not before embarking on a journey, where Kizito Walked from Toronto to Montreal (November 24th- December 11th to Raise Awareness to PTSD Challenges in his Rwandan-Canadian Community. During those 17 Days, he met many wonderful Canadians to whom he shared his story of overcoming PTSD in hope to help end the Stigma in Canadian society when it comes to Mental Health. Having just returned from a 3-month trip to his homeland, today Kizito is asking the Canadian community to help as they push to build Centre for Healing for Rwandan victims of 1994 Genocide Against Tutsi, and other victims of war who suffer from PTSD.
